Description

SOLICITATION: VA786-15-R-0216 PROJECT LOCATION: MASSACHUSETTS NATIONAL CEMETERY PROJECT TITLE: Repair and replace 3 ceilings that are peeling, water stained and not conducive to exterior exposure. They have recessed lighting and speakers that are rusted. The present condition is not acceptable to meet the NCA Shrine Standards. The metal pan ceilings allow for panel removal to facilitate access for future maintenance without requiring extensive demolition and restoration. By replacing the ceilings at these three Committal Shelters the Cemetery would have a uniform design and type of ceiling that should require minimal maintenance for the next twenty years. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, material and supervision necessary to demolish, dispose of off-site and replace the existing plaster and lath ceilings at Committal Shelter 1, 2 and 3 with a hidden grid metal pan ceiling at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Avenue, Bourne, MA 02532. This acquisition is for a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Award will be made to a responsible offeror on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for non-cost factors; Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process.. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 236220 is applicable. Please reference Solicitation Number RFP VA786-15-R-0216 on remittances. An electronic solicitation is available for download from www.FedBizOpps.gov on May 13, 2015 as a separate attachment. Responses to the solicitation are due by 2:00 p.m., June 03, 2015. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments to the solicitation which is available at Fed Biz Opps. Site visit is on May 21, 2015 at 10am local time. Failure to submit all documentation required as required, may result in your submission being determined non-responsive/technically unacceptable and your proposal will be removed from further consideration.
