- Solicitation Amendment 1 The purpose of FBO Amendment dated 5/13/15 is to upload solicitation Amendment 1 which incorporates the Pre-Bid Attendee List, Pre-Bid Meeting Notes, and applicable permits. Bid due date remains 5/20/15 at 2:00 Central. The purpose of FBO Amendment dated 4/22/15 is to replace the solicitation document with the correct version that includes the SF-1442. Bid due date remains at 5/20/15 at 2:00pm Central. The purpose of FBO Amendment dated 4/21/15 is to upload the solicitation documents. This construction project includes all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, supervision and incidentals necessary for the replacement of the existing water and wastewater systems at the Black River Harbor Recreation Area. Work includes, but is not limited to: demolition of existing pump house and attached radio tower, demolition of a concrete lake intake manhole, demolition of a 4,000 gallon concrete water tank, abandonment of existing well, complete removal of 3 lift stations, demolition and removal of two bathroom building and one wastewater treatment control building, pump out and demolition of a 175,000 gallon concrete aeration lagoon, complete removal of an RV dump station facility, general site work, installation of water lines and sewer lines with related valves and fittings, construction of a new fresh water intake system, new intake manhole structure, new intake pumps, pump control building renovations, a new concrete block pumphouse complete with flocculation/chlorination/ultrafiltration/turbidity units and all associated piping/pumps/controls, installation of new flow meters, pressure tanks and appurtenances, new electrical connections, renovations to a mostly underground 12,000 gallon concrete water storage tank, installation of a new pressure mound septic system complete with multiple septic tanks and pump chamber, connections to existing service lines, site preparation/furnish/install two new precast concrete vault buildings, and other incidentals required to complete the project as shown in the Specifications and Drawings. Contract is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The applicable NAICS code for this project is 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction, and the small business size standard is $36.5 million. The anticipated period of performance for the entire project is 280 days. Work is anticipated to be stopped during Winter, during which time days will not count against the performance period.
