Description: This is a sources-sought announcement only for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued to accomplish market research and support planning for the below listed requirements. The Government will not pay for any information or reimburse any costs incurred in responding to this RFI. No solicitation is being issued at this time. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The Government does not have a Technical Data Package to provide for this requirement. ACC- RSA proposes to acquire 534 National Stock Numbers (NSNs) and Part Numbers (PNs) in support of the PATRIOT Missile Weapon System. These requirements have been validated by the requiring element. The PATRIOT System is the basic Missile Weapon System for the Army and has been procured since 1977. Request that interested contractors provide the following: 1) Provide a description of your company's experience and capabilities with establishing and providing depot level spare parts to Army customers. 2) Provide a description of your company's experience in providing spare parts on the PAC-3 PATRIOT Missile System. 3) Demonstrate your company's Source Approval Request (SAR) qualifications as it applies to review and screening under the procedures of the DoD Spare Parts Breakout Program listed below: Breakout Engineering has assigned an AMRC code of 3N to this effort. The Acquisition Method Suffix Codes (AMSC) is coupled with Acquisition Method Codes (AMC) to form the Acquisition Method Reason Code. A description of the AMRC 3N is as follows: Acquire, for the second or subsequent time, directly from the actual manufacturer. Manufacture of this part requires special test and/or inspection facilities to determine and maintain ultra-precision quality for its function or system integrity. Substantiation and inspection of the precision or quality cannot be accomplished without such specialized test or inspection facilities. Qualified sources for this requirement may be provided a list of NSNs, part numbers and quantities upon request. The experience/expertise description should be no longer than 5 pages.
