- Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation- Philadelphia intends to enter into a five-year (2 Base Years and 3 Option Years) Requirements Long Term Contract (LTC) on or before 31 Oct 2015 for the procurement of the following items: Nomenclature NSN Est. Qty. Windshield Panels (Left Front) 7RH 1560 015134332 V2 238 Windshield Panels (Right Front) 7RH 1560 015134333 V2 238 DLA Aviation - Philadelphia will be restricting/setting aside at least 50% of this requirement for small business. This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. Although, by DoD-STD-100 definition, altered and selected items shall have an adequate technical data package, data review discloses that required data or data rights are not in Government possession and cannot be economically obtained. There are only two (2) approved/qualified sources for these requirements: Sierracin-Sylmar PPG and Llamas Plastics, Inc. Any inquiries regarding this announcement may be addressed to Loraine E.
