Description
This announcement was previously posted under W91247-15-T-WAL8 The Mission and Installation Contracting Command intends to contract for services to support the 3rd Aerial Support Squadron for disposal of non-hazardous, regulated waste from international flights inbound to Pope Army Airfield, Fort Bragg, NC. The contractor will be required to collect and haul from Pope Army Airfield non- hazardous regulated waste to the contractor's facility to properly dispose of the non-hazardous, regulated waste. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, necessary equipment and supplies, and adequate personnel to perform the required services. The NAICS Code associated with this requirement is 562111, Solid Waste Collection. This NAICS code is defined as, U.S. industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in collecting and/or hauling hazardous waste within a local area and/or operating hazardous waste transfer stations, and (3) collecting and/or hauling mixed recycle materials within a local area. All interested parties shall have a valid compliance agreement with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to transport regulated garbage in North Carolina. These credentials are in compliance with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Services (APHIS). The period of performance is expected to be a base period of 12 months and four (4) one (1) year option periods. The contract is expected to begin on May 28, 2015 through May 27, 2016. This requirement will be solicited on an unrestricted basis. No further set-aside is expected. This will be a firm fixed price (FFP) contract. A Request for Quote follows this announcement.
