- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on FEDBIZOPPS. The RFQ number is 15RQ50266. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 05-77 and DFARS Change Notice 2014-0930. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 561612 and the Small Business Standard is $20.5 Million. This is a SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE solicitation. The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard requests responses from the qualified source capable of providing the following (in accordance with the attached request for quote sheet): Line Item 0001: Provide on-site security monitoring services Period of performance is: June 5, 2015 to January 1, 2016. Performance will occur 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, consisting of two (2) 12 hour shifts. Responsibility and Inspection: unless otherwise specified in the order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control. How many security personnel will the agency expect to be onsite each hour ? A13. One (1). Q14. Are there multiple security stations for monitoring CCTV? A14. There is one (1) primary work station and one (1) back-up work station. Q15. Will security personnel be expected to "patrol/walk" outside as well as inside? A15. No. Q16. Will security personnel be expected to carry firearms? A16. No. Q17. Is there a format required for the proposal? example- Times New Roman font size 12, one inch margins. A17.
