Description
United States Government Seeks Expressions of Interest Jefferson City, Missouri Requirement The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under a lease in Jefferson City, Missouri, that will be expiring. The Government is seeking expressions of interest to lease 6,440 Rentable Square feet of space yielding 5,600 -5,800 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet of space and 38 parking spaces. The space must be available for occupancy by January 9, 2016. Other applicable requirements include the following features: Offered properties must be located within the following delineated area: North: Interstate 50 West: Wildwood Drive east to West Edgewood Drive, East Interstate 179 to Route C South: Route C to Interstate 54 to Interstate 50 East: Interstate 54 Lease Term: The proposed rental term shall be 10 years, 5 years firm. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. The Government will use the information it receives in response to this advertisement as a basis to develop a cost-benefit analysis and to determine whether to compete the lease requirement or pursue a sole source justification to remain at its current location. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the Government's requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunications infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime. This is an inquiry for expressions of interest only, not an invitation to bid. Expressions of interest should be sent to. Dunlay 2300 Main St. Kansas City, MO 64108 (816) 926-3161 Brian.Dunlay@GSA.gov Expressions of Interest must be submitted to the above address by 4:30 PM CST on May 28, 2015 and must include the following information: •- Building name and address and location of the available space within the building. •- Rentable square feet available and expected rental rate per rentable square foot, fully serviced. •- ANSI/BOMA Office area square feet (ABOA) to be offered and expected rental rate per OAFO, fully serviced. Indicate whether or not the quoted renal rate includes an amount for tenant improvement and state the amount, if any. •- Date of space availability. •- Method of rentable space measurement. •- Building ownership information. •- Amount of parking available on-site and its cost. Include whether expected rental rate includes the cost of the required Government parking. •- Energy efficiency and renewable energy features existing within the building. •- List of building services. The Government's decision regarding whether to relocate will be based, in part, on information received in response to this advertisement.
