- L-3 TW 550 Maintenance The 49th Contracting Squadron at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico is currently seeking potential sources for a non-personal services contract to provide hardware and software maintenance of an L-3 Communications Telemetry West (L-3 TW) 550 Data Processing System. OVERVIEW: The maintenance agreement would consist of the following: -Maintain records of system health over the life of the contract -Provide telephone, fax, and email support during normal business hours -Analyze and correct software problems or propose alternative solutions -Provide software updates via patch/minor release and include installation instructions -Provide replacement parts to swap with inoperable parts within a target of five working days SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The 550 Data Processing System is housed in a restricted area. Maintenance technicians are not authorized access to the facility. Hardware support would need to be accomplished via replacement of circuit cards. Furthermore, the software running on the 550 is proprietary to L-3 TW. All hardware and software proposed by the potential contractor must be compatible with the existing 550 hardware and software. SUBMISSION: Firms responding to this sources sought notice are also requested to provide the 49th Contracting Squadron with capability statements limited to three pages, which must include at a minimum: -Company Name -Point of contact name, number, and email address -Be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) -Business size status (8(a), Small Business, Hubzone, Woman-owned, Large Business, etc.) -Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code Submit capabilities statement via e-mail to justin.scales@us.af.mil and beau.burton@us.af.mil, no later than 3:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST) on Friday, 22 May 2015. NOTICE: This is not a solicitation announcement. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Quote, Request for Proposal, or Invitation for Bids, nor does it restrict the 49th Contracting Squadron to an ultimate acquisition approach. No contract is anticipated to be awarded from this announcement and requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. This Sources Sought Notice is in support of market research being conducted by the 49th Contracting Squadron to determine potential sources capable of fulfilling all requirements associated with maintenance of an L-3 TW 550 Data Processing System.
