Description
The Army Corps of Engineers Portland is hereby issuing a Request for Information (RFI) on behalf of the Willamette Valley Office, from all potential sources on the maintenance. The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. All submissions become the property of the Federal Government, and will not be returned. This RFI is an advance notice for information and planning purposes only and is not a solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System is 332710 and the size standard is 500 personnel. The attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement, and potential CLIN schedule are provided for industry review. The Army requests industry input related to the attached documents and potential approaches that might be incorporated into the eventual solicitation. The industry is welcome to provide questions, comments, and any suggested changes to any of the draft documents in order to reduce cost, schedule, and technical risks. If there are any known ways to reduce pricing or approaches that could reduce individual clin costs or total costs please show how that would occur on the PWS and the attached CLIN structure. Potential participants in the solicitation need not participate in this RFI as a prerequisite for responding to the final solicitation, but participation will enable them to provide innovative cost, schedule, and technical risk reduction prior to submitting their responses to the solicitation. Responses to the RFI do not constitute a commitment on the part of the Government to purchase or acquire services. The Government will not pay for data or time expended to respond to this notice. All information provided in response to this notification will be used for informational and planning purposes only. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The United States Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred for any activities related to this announcement. Questions submitted on the online application or via email to the Government Technical Point of Contact may be considered and responded to prior to the close of this RFI. Responses Responses can be in any form the sender deems necessary to propose innovative cost, schedule, technical risk cutting ideas and solutions to the proof of concept the government has proposed. Detailed proposals are not requested but will be accepted. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the RFI but solutions proposed may be detailed in the subsequent solicitation. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers- Portland has been tasked to solicit for and award procurement under a competitive, fixed price contract. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this RFI. The official Synopsis citing the solicitation number will be issued on Federal Business Opportunities www.fbo.gov and inviting firms to register electronically to receive a copy of the solicitation when it is issued. Interested Firm's shall respond to this RFI no later than 15:00 Pacific Standard Time (PST), 30 May 2015.
