- Note: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island is NOT accepting quotes or proposals via submission through FBO. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, Newport, Rhode Island intends to purchase piezoelectric ceramic striped cylinders IAW Dwg. #844064, Rev.A, qty. 150 for fabrication of DT-700B transducers. A firm fixed price type purchase order is anticipated. NAICS Code 334511, Size Standard is 750 employees. This requirement is unrestricted. The NUWCDIVNPT Office for Small Business Programs concurs with the unrestricted determination. Further details will be provided in Solicitation #N66604-15-Q-2062, which is anticipated to be released on or about 5/8/15. Vendor must be JCP certified (See website http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp for further information.) to view drawings, which is attached hereto. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/) to be eligible for award. Instructions for registration are available at the website. In accordance with DFAR Clause 252.211-7003, Unique Item Identifier (UID) applies if the proposed unit price is $5,000 or greater. The UID information must be submitted in Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) and a UID tag must be affixed to this item prior to shipping. Required delivery is 18 wks. ARO, F.O.B. The reason for this modification (01) is to remove explict access to the drawing package. The reason for this modification (02) is to add a requirement for piezoelectric ceramic striped cylinders IAW both Dwg. #7651762-01 Rev. A and 7651784-01 Rev. A, qty. 30. All offers must price any non-recurring engineering and/or tooling separately. Required delivery is ASAP. If advantageous to the Government, the Government reserves the right to make split awards by contract line item numbers. Vendor must be JCP certified (See website http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp for further information.) to receive access to drawings. The POC listed on the JCP certification must be the person submitting the request for access to drawings or the JCP certification must be revised to the correct POC who is making the request.
