Description
VETERANS AFFAIRS SEEKING MEDICAL SPACE The Department of Veterans Affairs desires to lease space yielding 10,000 usable square feet of office and medical space in Raleigh, NC for the new Raleigh Community Based Outpatient Clinic. The space must be handicap accessible in accordance with the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards (4 CFR 101-19.6, App A) the space must be move-in ready and accessible to public transportation and highways. On-site parking for 65-100 vehicles is required including designated handicapped parking spaces specifically for VA usage. The lease will be a full service lease with a lease term for five (5) years, with five (5) one (1) year options for a total of ten (10) years. The available space must be within the following delineated area. Preferred Landmark Boundaries: "I-540 to the North and East "I-40 to the West "State Routes 1 and 64 to the South Preferred Location is within the Raleigh Proper area closest to the intersection of New Bern Ave and Raleigh Blvd. Interested parties who wish to submit potential properties should submit their offer to Ray C. Weldon via email at ray.weldon@va.gov or to Louis W. Hammond at louis.hammond@va.gov. Properties submitted must include Point of Contact, Phone number, email address, address of the property (no PO box), property description, available square footage, photographs and number of available parking spaces. In addition, a map or proof that the proposed property is within the delineated area is required. All properties should respond by required by 4:30 EST May 25, 2015 The Government is limited by law (40 USC 278a, as Amended 10-1-81) to pay no more than the appraised fair rental value for space.
