CONTACT INFORMATION CAN BE FOUND WITHIN THE BODY OF THS ANNOUNCEMENT ************ NASA/MSFC has a requirement for the purchase of National Instrument Labview licenses to support the MSFC Propulsion and spacecraft community. The software provides the capability for designing and developing software programs that interact with data acquisition and control hardware, and provide a user interface for manual and automated control of laboratory experiments including the collection, recording and analysis data from the experiments. Labview has been used for many years for analyses related to liquid propulsions systems support, solid propulsion systems support and nuclear systems analysis. Ensuring the continued accuracy, reliablity, and compatibility of all elements of these analysis systems is of the utmost importance. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications in writing to Harold Smith/ARCS at harold.smith-1@NASA.GOV or fax to 256-961-9604 no later than 4:30p.m. Local time on 05/22/2015. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
