- Asbestos Testing Services This is a Sources Sought/Request for Information only. This is not a Solicitation Announcement, nor is it a Request for Proposal. This request does not obligate the government in any contract award. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, is conducting preliminary research to determine the market capabilities of potential contractors to perform analytical services support for the Environmental and Materials Unit (EMU) of the Savannah District and the customers of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, South Atlantic Division (SAD). The objective of this Scope of Work is to obtain an analytical laboratory, which can provide technically valid and legally defensible environmental data that will meet the required site-specific Data Quality Objectives (DQOs). This BPA describes the management policies, objectives, principles, and procedures, which will be used to generate data of the required quality. All work performed under this BPA shall meet the applicable portions of the USACE Engineering Regulation 1110-l-263, Chemical Data Quality Management for Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste Remedial Activities, and any revisions to that document, as well as, all Federal, State, and DOD Regulations. All interest firms with 541380 as an approved NAICS code have until 22 May 2015 at 12:00 pm (Eastern Time) to submit the following information: - Name & Address of your Firm - Point of Contact (name/phone/email) - Business Size: Large Business, Small Business to include designation as HUBZone, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Woman-Owned Business. - Evidence of capabilities to perform comparable work on three recent projects (not more than five years old). Include project name and key/salient features of the project, completion date, total contract value, and your company's level of involvement in the project. Please provide at least one point of contact (with email address and phone number) for project validation. Please submit the requested information to the attention of Melvin Sloan, Contract Specialist at Melvin.O.Sloan@usace.army.mil by 12:00pm (Eastern Time) on 22 May 2015.
