Description
The subject requirement is for the acquisition of one NSN that is a 1G drawing. This proposed procurement includes an item within the Federal Supply Class of 6135. The requirement will result in an award of a Basic Order of Supplies for a grand total of 1,157 packages (PG). CLIN 0001 is for 1,157 PG with delivery at Richmond, VA (SW0400). The procurement will be accordance with FAR Part 15. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on or about June 2, 2015 with an anticipated award of September, 2015. The solicitation will be available at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. An alternate source must submit data and be approved by cognizant Government engineering activity. The delivery for this acquisition will be on a FOB Destination basis. This solicitation will be issued as other than full and open competition, unrestricted procurement. Battery, Nonrecharge NSN 6135-01-527-9592 FOB Destination Total Contract Purchase 1,157 PG Unit of Issue: Package (PG) Delivery: 224 Days ADO for 1,157 PG All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The Contracting Officer may utilize on-line Reverse Auctioning as a means of conducting price discussions under this solicitation. During the course of the on-line auction, offerors' proposed prices will be publicly disclosed to other offerors and anyone else having access to the on-line auction. This public disclosure is anonymous, meaning that each offeror's identity will be concealed from other offerors (although it will be known to the Government), and only generic identifiers will be used publicly for each offeror's proposed pricing (e.g., "Offeror A"). By submitting a proposal in response to the solicitation, offerors agree to participate in the Reverse Auction and that their prices may be publicly disclosed, including to other offerors, during the Reverse Auction. An offeror's final auction price will be considered its final proposal revision. No price revisions will be accepted after the close of the Reverse Auction, unless the Contracting Officer decides that further discussions are needed and final proposal revisions are again requested in accordance with FAR 15.307.
