- DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: The project consists in the partial demolition and reconstruction with extension of an existing metal building used as wood shop/storage FUNDING: The project is funded LOCATION OF THE WORK: The site of the proposed work is Camp Darby, Tirrenia (Pisa) MAGNITUDE OF THE PROJECT: The magnitude of this project is between $ 500,000 and $ 1,000,000. METHOD OF CONTRACTING: This will be a Request for Proposal resulting in a firm fixed price contract. PERFORMANCE PERIOD: The Performance Period will be 40 calendar days for passes; 360 calendar days for construction works SOA: Contractor is required to be SOA OG1 classification III qualified SITE VISIT: The site visit will be held on June 22, 2015 at 9:30 hrs at main gate no. 4 Camp Darby, Tirrenia(Pisa), Italy. MISCELLANEOUS: The solicitation package, including the technical specificaiton, description of the work and addtional information will be posted within few weeks on Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov). To be awarded a government contract you MUST have DUNS (Dun& Bradstreet; tel: 02-28455379) and NCAGE (www.dlis.dla.mil/Forms/Form_AC135.asp) numbers and be registered in SAM(https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM). We will discuss this at the site visit. HOW TO PARTICIPATE: In order to participate all interested parties are invited to indicate their interest by submitting email not later than close of Business(COB) June 09, 2015 to the following address: cristina.pancaccini2.ln@mail.mil. Please indicate in your e-mail the solicitation number W912PF-15-R-0027 and the name of the company, address, phone number, e-mail address and name (s) of the person(s) who will be present at the site visit (maximum two people) : submit a copy of the ID card ( carta di identita')or a copy of the passes if you have already this document Only the persons who have provided the personal data will be allowed to attend the site visit. The Guards will check the identification card at the Gate. The offerors not present on the list will be denied the entrance to the base.
