Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice. This does not constitute a solicitation. The information gathered from this request is for planning purposes only. If a solicitation is issued, it will be issued at a later date. The Government is not obligated, nor shall it pay, for any information received from potential sources as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. No official solicitation exists in connection to this notification. If in the future an official solicitation is released, there is no guarantee that sources responding to this sources sought will be included on the sources list. This Sources Sought Notice is to determine the availability and capability of qualified large or small businesses including certified 8 (a), Small Disadvantaged, HUBZone firms; veteran and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and Women Owned Small Businesses to provide the requirement. The NAICS code associated with this requirement is 811219; small business size standard is 20.5 million dollars. The Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center, Pearl Harbor is seeking vendors who can provide the following under an General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule (FSS), or open market Firm Fixed Price service type contract: Perform work and services to re-preserve and reinstall (Vulcanize) Rubber on the FAIRWATER BAFFLES (See attached draft Performance Work Statement) The Period of Performance: 6 months from date of award. Interested firms are encouraged to respond to this notice with documentation showing the companys ability to fulfill the requirement described. Responses to this notice should include: 1. Company name, mailing address, e-mail address, telephone and FAX numbers, website address (if available), and the name, telephone number, DUNS number and e-mail address of a point of contact having the authority and knowledge to clarify responses with Government representatives. 2. Business size for NAICS 811219. 3. Technical narrative detailing the companys ability to provide the services listed in a timely manner to Pearl Harbor, HI. Narrative should also include an affirmative statement to whether the company is a manufacturer, distributer or service provider. 4. Please provide GSA contract or DOD/Federal contract number if applicable. The Government acknowledges that responses to this sources sought are not binding offers. The information obtained will assist in our market research and future solicitation processes.
