- The Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Natick Contracting Division, Natick, MA, in support of the US Army Natick Soldier RD&E Center (NSRDEC) Aerial Delivery Directorate (ADD), is seeking services for engineering, and technical management Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support a range of aerial delivery systems and equipment programs. (NAICS) code for this effort is 541330 - Engineering Services and the Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard is 15.0 million dollars. This is a 100% 8a competitive Set-Aside. Ongoing programs include the Advanced Low Velocity Air Drop System projects, customer funded aerial delivery projects, personnel airdrop projects such as combination drops and navigation aids. Personnel with expertise in emerging airdrop technologies are needed in real-time to support these many projects and customers. The technologies associated with current ADD programs are needed in the field quickly due to the current operational situation and demand. Current operations have created a need for additional airdrop capabilities and ADD requires senior personnel with the technical knowledge and technology program management expertise to transition and rapidly field the capability. This service support contract will provide ADD the needed expertise required for this anticipated surge in technology transition and the test, training, and programmatics included with new projects. The Government intends to award a five year Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contracts with one (1) base year and four optional ordering periods.
