- MEDCOM, Western Regional Contracting Office (WRCO), Tacoma, WA, intends to issue a firm fixed price order under FAR Part 6.302-1 to Starr Surgical in the estimated amount of $12,276.00 to purchase Intraocular Lens Implants for William Beaumont Army Medical Center. The Surgeon had determined that these products will best meet the patients' specific medical needs/requirements. ALL PRODUCTS MUST BE FDA APPROVED and meet the surgeons' and the patients' specific medical needs/requirements. The proposed contract action is for products which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. This notice is not a request for quote and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Purchasing Agent, Ms. Amparo P Sierra, amparo.p.sierra.civ@mail.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
