- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE A COPY OF YOUR COMMERCIAL PRICELIST OR PRICE SUPPORT ALONG WITH YOUR COMPANY'S CAGE CODE, TAXPAYER IDENTIFICATION NUMBER, AND DUNS NUMBER. Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Number W31P4Q-15-Q-0038 is to be a Sole-Source procurement to Rhinestahl Corporation in accordance with FAR Part 13. The corresponding NAICS code for this procurement is 336412. The US Army Contracting Command-Redstone is soliciting a quote from Rhinestahl Corporation of Mason Ohio, for the purchase of the following tooling to maintain T-701 engines consisting of the following: Two (2) each Fixture P/N 21C7786G01, Two (2) each Fixture P/N 21C7787G01, Two (2) each Fixture, Flush Rotor P/N 21C7729G01, Two (2) each Flush Fixture Rotor P/N 21C7730G01, Two (2) each Spanner Wrench Locknut P/N 21C7008G01, Two (2) each Pliers Positioning P/N 21C7412G01, Two (2) each Cover Inlet P/N 21C7396P01, Two (2) each Wrench, Spanner 21C7001G01, Two (2) each Puller Inserts Shaft P/N 21C7333G01. Rhinestahl Corporation is the only available source for the proprietary T-701 engine tooling, which is manufactured by General Electric(GE). Rhinestahl serves as GE's authorized distributor and as such will only sell to the U.S. Government. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-82. Any delivery order award resulting from this RFQ will be issued under BOA SPE4A1-13-G-0002 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award. Other clauses may be included in the award if applicable. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement and quotation which shall be considered by the agency. In the event more than one quote is received, the following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical capability of the items offered to meet the Government requirement, price, and delivery. All items shall include shipping costs FOB Destination to Redstone Arsenal, AL. Payment will be made via Wide Area Workflow. Responses are due no later than 4:00 PM (local time), 26 May, 2015 in the contracting office, Building 5400, Room B-142, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, 35898. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Electronic quotes are preferred, but fax quotes will be accepted.
