- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to add two additional facilities via a negotiated modification to the current Maui HMC contract FA9401-12-C-0019. The Maui High Performance Computing Center (MHPCC) and the Maui Research & Technology Center, Building B (MRTCB) are to be added to the current HMC contract for facility support by the current site 8(a) facility maintenance contractor, Wolf Creek Federal Services, Inc. (WCFS) under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c) (1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." Interested parties may e-mail brian.clark.6@us.af.mil not later than 5 June 2015, 3:00 p.m. MST. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: Services to be added to the contract shall be in line with the current facility support currently being provided by WCFS. The modification shall add new locations only. The HMC requirement includes properly managing 7.85 acres encompassing six primary facilities and several smaller structures, totaling 95,300 square feet. Major functional areas to accomplish these services include: · Programs (Engineering Services) Management · Operations and Maintenance Management · Asset Management · Grounds Maintenance · Emergency Management · Security Management · Logistics Management · Safety Management · Environmental Management IAW FAR Part 5.207(c)15(ii), the proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one (1) source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. WCFS holds an 8(a) certification. An award could be directly made to Wolf Creek Federal Services, Inc. in accordance with AFFARS 5319.8. However, it makes more sense administratively to add the MRTCB and the MHPCC portion to the already existing contract.
