- PWS based on the best and most current information available to date THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE seeking the interest of potential and eligible contractors in a Firm Fixed Price Service Contract for Hangar Door Maintenance and Repair service at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. OFFERS OR PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. THIS IS NOT A PRESOLICITATION OR SOLICITATION. ADDITIONALLY, THIS NOTICE DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO AWARD A CONTRACT OR MULTIPLE CONTRACTS; AND, IT DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO PAY FOR ANY BID AND/OR PROPOSAL PREPARATION COSTS. The 56 Contracting Squadron (56 CONS) of the 56 Fighter Wing is conducting market research to determine the availability, interest and capability of potential 8(a) certified small business sources qualified and able to compete for a contract to perform Hangar Door Maintenance and Repair services requirements at Luke AFB, Arizona. The information in this notice is based on the best and most current information available to date. This information is subject to change and is not binding to the Government. Updated information will be provided in future announcements and posted electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) homepage at www.fbo.gov. The Government shall not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this request for information / sources sought notice. Proposed work to be performed under the aforementioned contact is anticipated to be within the following North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes as follows: 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. The Small Business Size Standard is $7,000,000. Contractors are encourage to provide meaningful feedback on the requirement as described in the attached PWS. All questions, concerns, or recommendation should be communicated to Feyisade Adeoba (information provided below). Contractors will not be re-imbursed by the Government for any cost incurred towards this effort. Services are currently being procured through the Integrated Solutions & Services, Inc. The Government expects the magnitude of this base plus four option years requirement to be between $100,000 - $2 million. The Government has not yet determined the requirement evaluation criteria. However, Source Selection will be conducted using the procedures from the Air Force Source Selection Policies and Procedures, the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Department Of Defense (DOD) FAR Supplements and any other Air Force FAR Supplements. The Government requests interested parties submit a brief statement of current capability to perform these services and a letter of interest. Interested and qualified sources should provide the following information: (1) company name, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, type of business and size [i.e.; Small, SBA Section 8(a); (2) a list of your most recent and relevant DoD and/or commercial contracts (not to exceed ten) to include a brief description, names, POCs, phone numbers, value & type of contract, and period of performance; and (3) information about your company and why you think you can perform this service. Please limit your submissions to eight pages. Send responses to Feyisade Adeoba via e-mail to feyisade.adeoba.1@us.af.mil in PDF or Microsoft Word format. In order to be considered in this market survey, please reply by 1430, Friday, 29 May 2015. NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE TAKEN IN RESPONSE TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT. Information must be submitted to the previously stated point of contact no later than the time and date listed within the response due date. An actual solicitation is expected to be issued late fiscal 2016 or early fiscal 2017. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. Paper copies will NOT be available. The entire solicitation, including the specifications and/or drawings, will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This announcement shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. In the event a solicitation is developed, it will be assigned a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) number and the announcement will be published on the FedBizOpps website at www.fbo.gov. Potential interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package as well as downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments, if any. All contractors MUST be registered in the System for Award Management database or their proposal will not be considered.
