- SITE VISIT INFORMATION Date: May 18, 2015 (Monday) TIME: 9:AM Address: 5183 Blackhawk RD APG, MD 21010-5424 (EDGEWOOD AREA) Instruction: Meeting Place will be at building E3326 located behind E3330. Required in order to get on base: a valid driver's license (all visitors must sign in at the building located on the right before the gate for their Day pass. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Air Compressors and Dryers Service Preventive Maintenance and Repair Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-81. The solicitation number for this requirement is W91ZLK-15-R-0034. This requirement is being solicited as Total Small Businesses Set Aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811310 (Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance). The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price type contract for the preventive maintenance. Repair requirements will be separately priced. Contract award will be based on the lowest priced technically acceptable offer. Description of Requirement: The intent of this requirement is to acquire Preventive Maintenance and Repair Service contract to various brands of air compressors and dryers located at the U.S. Army base of Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. Period of performance is one base year from the date of award with two additional option years. Technical acceptability evaluation criteria will be based on the following: 1. A minimum of 5 years' experience servicing air compressors and dryers. 2. Proof of certification and or training for maintenance and repair of various brands of air compressor and dryers. 3. Contractor shall be able to respond to emergency calls within 24 hours. 4. Contractor shall show a minimum of two past contracts on air compressor and dryer maintenance and repair service. INSTRUCTIONS to OFFERORS:(PLEASE USE UPDATED QUOTE REGISTRY ATTACHED) List of equipment is attached on this solicitation. Please use the same table as the format for submissions of offers. All offeror's shall fill-out cost of each equipment listed for base year, option year 1, and option year 2. A summary of yearly cost will be indicated below the table provided. Partial quotes will not be evaluated. Attachments: Performance Work Statement, and Equipment listing with quote registry. Vendors who are not registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), www.sam.gov, database prior to award will not be considered. Vendors may register with SAM online at the website link provided.
