- This SSN will frame the discussion during the referenced industry day Industry day registration form (required for participation) Industry day The NRC is committed to increasing communication and understands that early and frequent vendor participation is critical in developing effective acquisition strategies, conducting efficient competitions, and achieving programmatic success. The Agency has been placing an increased emphasis on frequent information exchanges with industry to improve the quality of the agency's market research efforts. Exchanges with the public can be very beneficial and result in items such as: (a) greater clarity of agency requirements; (b) increased awareness of industry products and services and; (c) better business decisions made by vendors about their private sector investments in products or services available to the Agency. To support this commitment, the NRC will be hosting an industry day at NRC headquarters on June 9, 2015 from 9:00 am until 11:30am. Please see the registration form for additional details on meeting location. The purpose of this event is to facilitate two-way communication between industry and Government to understand the commercial viability to perform particular types of work as outlined below. These categories are not directly tied to any pending procurement action(s); however this dialogue will assist the Agency in future sourcing strategies. Please note that this discussions during this event will be limited to only the capabilities required for the work listed below. The NRC will not address other work areas or upcoming procurements.
