- Description
- This notice provides details of an upcoming project prior to advertisement of the solicitation package. The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) intends to solicit for award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) construction contract to enhance wetland functions and restore wetland hydrology on a Wetland Reserve Easement in Carlisle County, Kentucky. The work shall consist of restoring the hydrology on the site by constructing a shallow water area. Major items to be installed as part of or incidental to this wetland restoration project include: Clearing - 15 acres; Seeding & Mulching - 1.4 acre; Earthfill - 3202 CY; 8 inch diameter Sch 40, PVC pipe - 106 LF; Inline Water Control Structure - 1 each; Rock riprap - 25 ton, GSS Rock Chute - 278 ton, Stream Crossing - 107 ton. The project is located in SW Carlisle County, approximately 1.25 miles W of Berkley, Kentucky along Indian Camp Rd. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement will be set aside as a 100% small business set aside. Performance time is estimated to be 22 Calendar Days.
