- Synopsis of Custodial Services Solicitation This synopsis serves as an announcement of an upcoming solicitation for Custodial Service at Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal. A solicitation for these services will be posted on or about 2 June 2015. The solicitation will be synopsized under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561720, where the government reserves the right to award to an offeror with a different NAICS code. Major categories of work include general custodial services. The purpose of these custodial services is to maintain satisfactory facility conditions and present a clean, neat and professional appearance. The minimum cleaning frequencies will be established in accordance with the Air Force Custodial Common Levels of Service Standards and needs of Lajes Field Air Base Wing. The government intends to evaluate any offers received using lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) and shall award a firm-fixed price contract as a result. The government reserves the right to award to other than the low offeror if that offer is found to be the lowest price technically acceptable and is the overall best value to the government. The request for quote (RFQ) package will be available for downloading and viewing at Federal Business Opportunities (FBO), http://www.fbo.gov on or about 2 June 2015. The RFQ package will be available on the Internet only. There will be no hard copies of this solicitation issued. The solicitation, performance work statement, and any other subsequent attachments will not be provided in a printed paper format; however, the government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the government's best interest. Questions related to this solicitation must be submitted in writing to 65 CONF/LGCB, Attn: Ms. Rose Oliveira or SSgt Taylor Haile, Unit 7775, Bldg. T-615, Room 208, Lajes Field, Azores Portugal 09720-7775, or e-mail to: rose.oliveira.pt@us.af.mil or taylor.haile@us.af.mil. "Notice to Offeros: Funds are not presently available for this RFQ. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or on 1 October 2015, with no obligation to the offer by the government." All interested offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. Additional information on SAM is available at https://www.sam.gov. All contractors interested in receiving notification of updates/amendments to the solicitation posted on FedBizOps are urged to enroll on the web site mailing list for this acquisition. Those contractors enrolled will be notified automatically of any changes made to the RFQ through their e-mail addresses. No telephone requests will be accepted.
