- Description
- Industry Day Welcome Package Industry Day Memorandum 1. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Battle Control Systems Division (HBDB) is hosting an Industry Day Presolicitation Conference for the NCR-IADS ERSA system from 30 June through 2 July 2015 from 0800 - 1545 hours (ET). Check-in of registrants on 30 June 2015 will start at 0715. This event will take place at the Hanscom AFB Conference Center, Grenier Street, Bldg 1106, Hanscom AFB, MA 01731. The purpose of this conference is to improve the understanding of Government requirements and industry capabilities, to allow potential offerors to judge whether or how they can satisfy the Government's requirements, and to enhance the Government's ability to obtain supplies and services at reasonable prices, and increase efficiency in proposal preparation, proposal evaluation, negotiation, and contract award. At this event, the Government will present pertinent system information so that industry will get a better understanding of the program and its current capabilities. The United States Air Force (USAF) is doing market research into the modification (whole or parts) of ERSA with a documented Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS)/Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) non-proprietary open system architecture that meets or exceeds current capabilities. Additionally, the government will seek industry's input into their knowledge of acquisition strategies for the development of a potential roadmap of how to get from our current state to a more cost effective sustainable system. 2. The Program Management Office (PMO) and user representatives will give mass briefings to all registrants regarding the NCR-IADS ERSA system. Exchanges of information through questions (on a non-attribution basis) and answers raised during the conference will be documented and made available to conference attendees and other potential offerors as part of conference record. 3. Attendance by small and small disadvantaged firms is encouraged. Registration for this event is on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested parties must RSVP no later than 1200 (ET) on Tuesday, 16 June 2015 by sending the following information to Lt Paul Stocklin at paul.stocklin@us.af.mil with a courtesy copy to Ms. Wendy Hardiman at wendy.hardiman.ctr@us.af.mil.
