- Sole Source Notice The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 8 Network Contracting Office located in Bay Pines, Florida intends to issue a sole source firm fixed priced contract to Mar Cor Purification, Inc., 4450 Township Line Road, Skippack, PA 19474. Mar Cor Purification, Inc. provides maintenance services on proprietary Siemens/Mar Cor water purification system EE 44842 S/N 062394-04 located at the C.W. Bill Young VAMC. Mar Cor Purification, Inc. will service, sanitize, and screen the reverse osmosis water system located at the C.W. Bill Young VAMC, 10,000 Bay Pines Blvd, Building 100, Bay Pines, Florida 33744. This system reduces the particles down to the molecular level as well as removes inorganic solids and other impurities within water. The requirement will be sole sourced to Mar Cor Purification, Inc. in order to maintain consistency in servicing the reverse osmosis water system, which is imperative for measurement and accountability. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and 13.106-1(b)(1), "soliciting from a single source." The NAICS code is 811219 and has a size standard of $20.5M for this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotations no later than 1:30PM EST, May 27, 2015 to: steven.scharlow@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate.
