This includes installing new, vertical cable infrastructure and connecting it to the existing infrastructure system. Cable service must accommodate all current and newly occupied areas with the capability for service expansion for future end user requests. (1) National Stock Number (NSN) if assigned: N/A (2) Specifications/Qualification Requirements: The Contractor shall be capable of (a) installing new infrastructure in a construction zone; (b) relocating the current building in-feed; and (c) coordinating with the General Contractor's crews. Specific details will be provided in the solicitation document. (3) Manufacturer, including part number, drawing number, etc.: N/A (4) Size, dimensions, or other form, fit or functional description: N/A (5) Predominant material of manufacture: N/A (6) Quantity, including any options for additional quantities: N/A (7) Unit of issue: N/A (8) Destination information: Services shall be completed at 5600 Fishers Lane, Rockville MD 20852. (9) Delivery schedule: Cable service must be up and running prior to 09/30/2015 (10) Duration of the contract period: One 12-month base period plus 4 12-month option periods, if available (11) No sustainable acquisition requirements. (12) This presolicitation notice will be amended with a written solicitation document. Award is anticipated on or around June 20, 2015. (13) This is not an Architect-Engineer project. (14) Neither FAR 52.225-3, FAR 52.225-5, FAR 52.225-11 nor FAR 52.225-23 applies to this acquisition. (15) This will be a competitive action. (16) All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes shall be submitted after this pre-solicitation notice is amended and the solicitation document is made available. (17) The solicitation will be posted to the GPE.
