Description

Supervisor of Shipbuilding Newport News (SUPSHIPNN) intends to execute an order under Submarine Repair Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-10-G-4300 or N00024-10-G-4301 for one diesel Turbocharger including installation. The period of performance is through 30 September 2015. The two prime contractors are: Electric Boat Corporation, a General Dynamics Company located at 75 Eastern Point Road, Groton, CT 06340-4989 (BOA N00024-14-G-4300); and Huntington Ingalls Incorprated, 4101 Washington Avenue, Newport News, VA 23607-2787 (BOA N00024-14-G-4301). This order will be issued pursuant to 10 USC 2304(c)(1). The proposed agreement action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit under the authority of FAR 6.303 utilizing Class J&A numbers 40,970. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. Companies interest in subcontracitng opportunities should contract Electric Boat Corporation or Huntington Ingalls Incorprated directly.
