Description

This Special notice is to inform that an award using FAR 8.405-6, Limited sources justification and approval, was made to AlphaPointe to procure safety caps for medication bottles. The decision of awarding a purchase order using FAR 8.405-6 was made after market research showed AlphaPointe was able to supply the requirement immediately due to the urgency of the request. However, the Department of Veterans Affairs will consider any capability statements received resultants from this notice as part of an ongoing market research for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurements for future requirements; there is no solicitation document related to this Special Notice and no Request for Proposals will be available.
