Description

This is the justification to issue a 12-month firm-fixed price, level-of-effort task order to the incumbent, NetCentrics Corporation (NetCentrics) to continue Information Technol-ogy (IT) Operations Front Office Support for the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), WHS, WHS Supported Organizations (WSO), and the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA). Similar support for the Office of General Counsel (OGC), the Defense Legal Services Agency (DLSA), the Consolidated Adjudication Facility (CAF), and the Office of Military Commissions (OMC) may be obtained under this order. The current task order, issued on 27 September 2012, was for a 12-month base period and two 12-month option periods. Both options were exercised. The current Task Order expires on March 31, 2015. There are no further extensions available under the existing Task Order. This proposed task order award is a follow-on to the expiring task order HQ0034-11-D-0002-0004 (Task Order L). The current task order was issued off a Multiple Award Con-tract (MAC) vehicle. The MAC, named the Net-Centric Integrated Enterprise Information Technology Solutions (NIEITS), was solicited as a small business set-aside under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541513-Computer Fa-cilities Management Services. A total of three indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity(IDIQ) contracts were awarded to small businesses; NetCentrics, the incumbent under the expiring Task Order L, is one of those vendors.
