Description
SCA WAGE DETERMINATION Submission of Quotes This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for services in which the government intends to acquire in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Alaska Fisheries Science Center, Auke Bay Laboratories has a requirement. The objective of this work is to a Fisheries Technician for Little Port Walter, on-call, and for short amounts at a time within the period of performance. The work will require specific experience related to salmon aquaculture and fisheries research. Little Port Walter is a remote location. •a. Work will be performed from June 14, 2015 to December 31, 2015, and shall not exceed 400 hours. •b. Fishery technician services will be performed between 7 am and 6 pm for up to 8 hours/day and 5 days/week •c. Work will be performed on an on-call basis for periods not to exceed three weeks as specified by the POC, APOC, or lead scientist. Periods of work are tentatively scheduled for but are not limited to late June-early July, mid-late October, mid-November, and early December. •d. A minimum of 2-weeks notice will be provided prior to finalizing the work schedule. In the case of an emergency, 48-hour notice will be provided. •e. Contractor will be required to be at Little Port Walter June 14 - 18 th for initial meeting, overview, and station activities. •f. See attached Statement of Work for more information. All interested concerns must submit a quotation and documentation demonstrating the qualifications to provide services as described above within fifteen (15) days of the publication date of this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. A firm-fixed order is anticipated to be issued in immediately. All responses must be in writing and delivery to fax number (907)789-6004 attention to Heather Mahle, emailed to heather.mahle@noaa.gov, or provided to the address indicated in the solicitation. Faxed or Emailed Correspondence or Response to Solicitation should reference solicitation # ABL-15178, in the Subject line to ensure it is received successfully. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $150,000.00. The following provisions and clauses shall apply to this solicitation and resultant award.
