Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6. This announcement will include a Standard Form, SF 1449 Solicitation Document. The Solicitation Number for this Acquisition is VA248-15-Q-1147, and is being issued with this announcement as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The Solicitation is being conducted under the procedures of FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The NAICS Code for this Acquisition is 334112. The Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. The NF/SG VA Medical Center requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing the following item. The government intends to award a new Firm Fixed-Price Contract, for the one time furnishing of a Workstation. Statement of Work Requirement The NF/SG VA Malcom Randall VA Medical Center requires installation on a 6200 digital workstation with DCS Dicom Viewer and Dicom Import Utility. The equipment will be located in the Radiology area of Jacksonville Outpatient Clinic, 1536 N. Jefferson St., Jacksonville, FL 32209. Upon receipt of workstation vendor will provide remote installation software. Install will be done in compliance with all IRMS, Information Security and Biomedical regulations. Equipment must be tested in the presence of biomedical staff to verify proper function. See item listing in RFQ VA248-15-Q-1147 for details. Vendors submitting offers of other items must submit, with their offer, documentation which clearly establishes to the satisfaction of the Contracting Officer that the item offered meets the item(s) specified as defined in the salient characteristics listed in the RFQ. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions and specification of the solicitation. The applicable NAICS Code is 334112 to be eligible for award; vendors must be registered in the System of Award Management www.sam.gov. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as the FedBiz Opps: which is a secure website designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information. The electronic solicitation VA248-15-Q-1147 may be downloaded on http://wwwfedbizopps.gov. Potential offerors will be responsible for down loading the solicitation and monitoring the website for amendment(s), if any to the solicitation.
