Description
Under the authority of FAR Part 12-Acquistion of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures, the 409th Contracting Support Brigade/Theatre Contracting Command (409th CSB/TCC) intends to issue a solicitation for the acquisition of twelve (12) all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) for the AFSBN Germany. This requirement is for twelve (12) Polaris Ranger Crew Diesels with PRO-FIT Cab System, and heater kit, or equal. The salient characteristics are: 1.Seating 4 personnel minimum 2.Cargo Rear Payload Capacity Between 1,100 and 1,750LBS Cargo Bed Volume 98.12 and 107.7 GAL 3.Towing Towing Capacity 1,000LBS or greater 4.Drivetrain Drive type 4x2 or greater Transmission Type: CVT or Automatic 5.Steering Manual or power 6.Engine (liquid cooled) Diesel 7.Color Green 8.Safety (minimum requirements) Doors (hard or fabric); Cabin (fully enclosed); Cabin heating; parking brake; seatbelts; handhold; rollover protection; lights (headlights and taillights) 9.Warranty Valid in Europe 10.Instrumentation (minimum requirements) Hour meter; parking brake engaged audible or illumination warning; speedometer; fuel gauge; gear position The Government anticipates awarding a single, firm-fixed-priced contract award through full and open competition. All responsible sources may submit a quotation in response to the solicitation when it is released. To be considered for contract award, all offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. The Request for Quotes (RFQ) will be issued via the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website, https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/default.cfm to Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at http://www.fbo.gov. The solicitation number is W564KV-15-T-0044; hard copies of the solicitation will not be issued. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the Government-Wide Point of Entry (GPE) for the solicitation release and all subsequent amendments. The anticipatory issue date for the solicitation is fifteen (15) days from the posting of the pre-solicitation. The delivery will be FOB destination to Coleman Barracks, Mannheim, Germany.
