- ***CORRECTIONS MADE TO POSTING DUE TO ADMINISTRATIVE ERROR*** W91ZLK-15-T-0187 THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE REPRESENTING MARKET RESEARCH ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS, INVITATION FOR BIDS, OR REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. NO CONTRACT AWARD WILL RESULT FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. The Army Contracting Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground is conducting market research to determine the availability of small businesses, capable of fulfilling the Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) need for High capacity water system needed to feed 4 large (32 to 64 cu ft) environmental chambers and two CI5000 weatherometers and small test equipment. Systems shall produce Type 2 purified water with a 1400 liters/day capacity and a 350 liter reservoir. Water used for testing all types of Army materiel and must be Type II so as not to interfere/contaminate test items. Large volume chambers will be able to run simultaneously, enabling lab personnel to increase testing. SPECIFICATIONS: This entire system must have interchangeable OEM Millipore parts in order for lab personnel to limit the number of stock items and be able to interchange the filters with an existing Elix (2) 35 water system setup. a. Water purification system must supply Type 2 purified water. b. Be able to produce 1400 liters/day of Type 2 water. c. Include a 5 GPM distribution pump at 40 PSI (example:MQ3-35B Grundfos or equal is used in lab) d. Tap water pretreatment automatic backwashing filters (one multimedia and one carbon filter) e. Final water pretreatment with OEM (original equipment manufacturer) EMD Millipore progard -L and Prepak-L pretreatment packs with mounting bracket. Able to produce 35 liters per hour, max 700 liters per day (at 25 C /30% recovery), Product Quality to storage tank: greater than 5 m -cm ( typically 10-15 m -cm) less than 30 ppb TOC, less than 10 cfu/ml bacteria, 99.9 % silica rejection. f. 350 liter storage tank with stand, over flow sensor, vent filter. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334516- Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 500 employees. POTENTIAL SOURCES SHALL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN THEIR RESPONSE: The contractor must include in their Capability Statement (1) the company name, address, phone number/email address for POC at the company, certification of business size, cage code and DUNS number, (2) staff expertise and experience along with their availability to perform work on this specific piece of equipment.
