This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial information found at FAR Part 13 and as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912PF-15-T-0085 and this combined synopsis-solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation is unrestricted and all interested Vendors shall submit written quotes (oral quotes will not be accepted). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 811118. The purpose of this combined synopsis/solicitation is to provide repair on Top Loader Container Handler owned by the AFSBn-Italy. A short description of the service is provided: -Disassembly and re-assembly of the extension spreader motor, cables support and pipes on the right side. -Extraction of the spreader extension beam to allow to disassembly of the hydraulic spreader motor support plate, penetrating weld, performed by a fully skilled and certified welder. -Repositioning of the extension spreader beam. -Installation of a new spreader extension motor with relative bolts and chain pinion. -Functional test. -Substitution of the rigid curved and flexible release pipes and relative attaching rings. -Turn-in of damaged parts will be at Contractor's' expenses. Offerors are required to indicate the unit price and the total cost for the following items: CLIN 0001 - Repair of spreader bar Quantity 1 (Each) Unit price ____________ Total amount_________ CLIN 7500 - Contract Manpower Reporting (CMR) quote mark The contractor shall report ALL contractor labor hours (including subcontractor labor hours) required for performance of services provided under this contract for the quote mark Repair of spreader bar, AFSB-n Italy quote mark via a secure data collection site. Reporting inputs will be for the labor executed during the period of performance during each Government fiscal year (FY), which runs October 1 through September 30. While inputs may be reported any time during the FY, all data shall be reported no later than October 31 of each calendar year, beginning with 2015. All responsible vendors may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Site Visit: The site visit will be held on June 15, 2015, 09:00AM. The meeting point will be Gate #27 (Depot Area), Via Aurelia, Tombolo (Pisa). The offeror is solely responsible for the performance of all inspection, tests requirements and quality control.
