Description

TSA Form 2816B RFI and Industry Day Notice The Mission Analysis Division (MAD) within the Office of Security Capabilities (OSC) is conducting market research and hosting Industry Day regarding 3-D Volumetric Tomosynthesis solutions at the Checkpoint, to determine if there are current or future technologies for delivering cost efficient solutions for passenger checkpoint screening applications. The Transportation Security Administration is interested in information from all parties, including manufacturers as well as those researching components and subsystems. It should be noted that the TSA is requesting information on this topic to identify 3-D Volumetric Tomosynthesis solutions for the Checkpoint carry-on screening that are currently available or being developed. Please see the attached document for more specific information and instructions on the subject Request for Information (RFI) and Industry Day. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e) this RFI and Industry Day notice is posted for data gathering and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation, nor should it be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award of a contract. The Government will not reimburse any respondent for any costs associated with information submitted in response to this notice.
