- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the provision of providing Parking Spaces for the federal staff at the Federal Detention Center (FDC) Houston, located at 1200 Texas Avenue, Houston, Texas. It is anticipated that this RFQ will result in award of a single contract that shall consist of a 12 month base period, and the possibility of four12 month option periods. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. Award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government. The contractor shall provide unrestricted access to the parking area for 150 parking spaces for the FDC, 365 days a year, seven days a week, 24 hours a day, including holidays. Parking spaces must be covered and within.3333 of a mile to the FDC. The spaces shall be paved and illuminated as provided by the standard in the industry. The entire parking area must be maintained by the Contractor. All other qualifications and requirements will be detailed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on or about June 03, 2015 and will be distributed through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring these sites to ensure you have the most up to date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about July 01, 2015. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 812930 and the applicable small business size standard is $38.5 million. This requirement will be unrestricted. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated effective award date is October 01, 2015.
