Description

JOTFOC for sole source. The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, Long Range Enforcer - Contracts & Procurement Branch 2, Oakland, CA anticipates awarding SOLE SOURCE procurement to Philadelphia Gear. for the following supplies: 1. Onsite Field Service Technician to Troubleshoot Gear Lube Oil Pressure Discrepancies Philadelphia Gear. is the original manufacturer of the main reduction gears equipped on board the Coast Guard's 378 High Endurance Cutters and is the sole provider if the OEM parts. Performance Period: June 22, 2015 - June 26, 2015 Performance Location: Base San Diego, CA CGC Boutwell Cutter. Vendor will provide all labor and parts listed in the Schedule. NAICS Code 336611 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800 AM PST 1 June 2015 will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within seven days after date of this publication/synopsis will be considered by the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This solicitation is restricted to: Philadelphia Gear 2600 E. Imperial Highway Lynwood, CA 90262 Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited.
