- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ)# FA8224-15-3DPRINTER. The proposed contract action is full and open competition and is not set-aside for small business. CLIN 0001: 3D Printer Stratasys Fortus 900mc, Brand Name or Equal A. Accessories and Specifiations: 3D printer must meet the following specifications and processes 1. Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM). 2. Dual material canister bays and auto changeover. 3. Operating system software and install disks for stand-alone operations. 4. Build Envelope 36 x 24 x 36 inch. 5. Achievable Accuracy +/-.0035 inch or +/-.0015 in/in whichever is greater. 6. Full set up and capability to operate the following materials. 6.1 ASA material. 6.2. Polycarbonate (PC) model material. 6.3. Nylon model material. 6.4. ULTEM 1010 or equal brand material option with Purge Ledge. 6.4.1. In accordance with Military Specification 1501, AMS 2460, Douglas Process Specification 9.71 6.4.2. Able to withstand hydrofluoric acid at 10% at 70 degrees Fahrenheit 6.4.3. Able to withstand chromic acid at 30-40% at 140 degrees Fahrenheit 6.4.4. Able to withstand sulfuric acid at 10-30% at 140 degrees Fahrenheit 6.4.4. Able to withstand sodium hydroxide at 40% at 140 degrees Fahrenheit 6.4.5. Withstand continuous and cyclic use. 7. ABS-ESD7 material. 8. User manuals. 9. Commercial Startup Kit (tools used for operation, materials, tip change, and basic maintenance): 9.1. Metal tip-wipe brush 9.2. Build Envelope (XYZ)- 36 X 24 X 36 inches; Platen supports two build zones for either a small or large build sheet 2. Full set up and capability to operate listed materials- ASA Material; ABS-ESD7 Material; Polycarbonate Material; Nylon Material; ULTEM 1010 Material or equivalent 3. Achievable Accuracy- Parts produced within an accuracy of +/-.0035 inch or +/-.0015 inch per inch whichever is greater.   CLIN 0002: Ultrasonic Washer Tank- Ultrasonic, heated wash tank that is used to dissolve unwanted support material that remains after an item is 3D printed. A. Accessories and Specifications- The Ultrasonic wash tank must meet the following specifications and processes 1. Withstand a heated, highly alkaline sodium hydroxide solution 2. Provide temperature of 0 to 180 degrees Fahrenheit 3. Internal tank size between 36x24x36 inches and 40x30x40 inches 4. Automatic shut-off digital timer 5. Drain on the bottom or pumping as a method of draining 6. Operation and instruction manual ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS: 1. Internal Tank Size Between 36x24x36 inches and 40x30x40 inches 2. Tank Composition Able to withstand heated, highly alkaline solution. 3. Tank Drain Drain should be at the bottom, or unit should contain a pump for draining 4. Timer Digital timer with auto shutoff capability 5. Temperature Capability- Temperature controllable between 0 to 180 degrees Fahrenheit   CLIN 1001: Annual Maintenance Renewal- 3D Printer and Ultrasonice Washer Tank CLIN 2001: Annual Maintenance Renewal- 3D Printer and Ultrasonice Washer Tank CLIN 3001: Annual Maintenance Renewal- 3D Printer and Ultrasonice Washer Tank CLIN 4001: Annual Maintenance Renewal- 3D Printer and Ultrasonice Washer Tank GENERAL REQUIREMENTS DELIVERED BY SUPPLIER SHALL INCLUDE: 1. On-site installation and system set-up 2. Delivery, set up, initial calibration and functional testing 3. Maintenance, calibration, and repair support for requests with repair start-up within three business days or within commercial practice 4. Initial start-up System and/or Software provided on disk. 5. Technical support for requests with response time within commercial practice time period 6. Updates to system and/or software provided on disk, for stand-alone operations, as commercial upgrades occur. COMMERCIAL WARRANTY The contractor shall provide, without charge, commercial warranty of parts, labor, and calibration that includes program updates, on disk for stand-alone, for this equipment. On-site installation, system set-up and calibration shall be provided, without charge SECURITY REQUIREMENTS The contractors coming onsite once or twice within the year will only require a one day visitor pass or weekly pass. The contractor shall contact GR two days ahead of time letting him/her know the day of the visit. The sponsor is authorized to arrange visit authorization through Pass and Identification (ID) office. Pass and ID office is located near Southgate Entrance, Phone: 801-777-8631 Office Hours: 0700-1630. The contractor shall be a U.S. Citizen. Proof of ID required: Driver's license. If driving on base, the contractor shall supply Gate Security with proof of drivers' insurance and registration. The sponsor shall be responsible to escort the contractor while on base. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 05-65. FAR Part 12 and 13.5, Test Program, are applicable to this acquisition. FAR Clauses and provisions applicable are: FAR 52.211-6, 52.212-4, 52.212-5 (DEV), 52.217-8, 52.223-18, 52.225-13, 52.232-1, 52.233-2, 52.247-34, 52.252-2 and 52-252-6; DFARS 252.211-7003, 252.232-7003, 252.232-7006 and 252.247-7023; AFFARS 5352.201-9101.
