- Solicitation for NSN 2840-01-349-7835, PR 0058510125. This is a Request for Proposal for a Definite Quantity. This NSN is a non-commercial item that contains requirements for higher level quality and configuration control. This is a Critical Safety Item. This is a Critical Application item with Export Control requirements. Government First Article Test applies. There are three approved sources of supply for this NSN which include Whitecraft LLC (CAGE 32543), United Technologies (CAGE 52661), and Lewis Machine, LLC (CAGE 3V183) in accordance with part number 4074186. NAICS is 336412. This is a stock buy. The FOB point is Origin; Inspection and Acceptance is at Origin. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. Delivery schedule is 176 days for the production quantity, 30 days for the Government First Article Test, and 90 days for the Government First Article Test and evaluations which results in a total delivery of 296 DARO. The required quantity is 1266 units. This solicitation includes provision 52.215-9023, Reverse Auction. Solicitations between $25,000 and over will be made in writing. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are available and will be furnished by the Government. Request for a written proposal, please submit offers to fax # (804) 279-4165. OFFERORS MUST COMPLETE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD. A copy of the solicitation will be made available via DLA Internet Bid Board System at https://dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ issue date cited in the RFP. From the DIBBS Homepage, select Search RFPs. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requestors. The solicitation anticipated issue date is June 10th, 2015. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. PPIRS Past Performance Information Retrieval System. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
