Description
1. TECHNICAL SCOPE General: The Contractor shall provide bridge inspection access equipment to aid the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) bridge inspectors in inspecting the St. Georges Bridge located in St. Georges, Delaware. 1.1 Requirements: The Contractor shall provide the following: 1.1.1 One (1) gas-powered 80-ft telescopic boom lift (Genie S-80X or JLG 800S, or equivalent). 1.1.1.1 Period of Performance: The 80-ft inspection unit shall be ready to use at the site at 7:00 AM on 01 June thru 5:00 PM on 19 June. 1.1.2 One (1) gas-powered 120-ft telescopic boom lift (Genie S-125, JLG 1200SJP, or equivalent) 1.1.2.1 Period of Performance: The 120-ft inspection unit shall be ready to use at the site at 7:00 AM on 01 June thru 5:00 PM on 19 June. 1.1.3 Upon delivery of the equipment to the site, the contractor shall provide all relevant inspection certificates indicating that the units meet all applicable safety requirements. 1.1.4 Location: St. Georges Bridge located in St. Georges, Delaware 1.1.5 Point of Contact: John Zacheiss, CENAP-EC-EB, (215) 656-0543 1.2 Limiting Criteria: All safety equipment and procedures shall be in accordance with the Corps of Engineers Manual EM 385-1-1, entitled Safety and Health Requirements Manual, dated November 2008. All training and equipment must meet or exceed OSHA and ANSI requirements, and be in accordance with the Corps of Engineers Manual EM 385-1-1, entitled Safety and Health Requirements Manual, dated November 2008.
