Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is soliciting proposals for a contractor to provide construction services for Project # 692-339, Replacement Dormitory Bldg 203. The proposed action is for a contractor to provide all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools and supplies necessary to replace the dormitory. The work includes but is not limited to deconstruction and replacement of building 203, approximately 18,803 gsf, plus partial demolition of two-story corridor connected to building 203. The contractor shall prepare site which includes but is not limited to general construction alterations, roads, walks, grading, drainage, mechanical, electrical, and utility systems. The replacement building will be approximately 26,000 gsf with 70 beds plus Residential Care Section, Offices and laundry facility. The new building will also need to be tied into the existing corridor. Work is to be performed at VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics, White City, Oregon. Complete specifications and drawings will be included in the solicitation. The solicitation will result in the award a firm-fixed price contract to a single contractor. This procurement is 100% set aside for Small Business concerns. The Request for Proposal (RFP) number is VA260-15-R-0084. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 and the small business size standard is $36.5 million. Cost magnitude is between $5 million and $10 million. Telephone requests for the solicitation will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the Fed Biz Opps website, http://www.fbo.gov. Interested offerors are advised to consult the actual solicitation for final dates and times. Prospective offerors are urged to attend the site visit, date and time to be identified in the solicitation. Interested offerors should ensure registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/#1 ) to include Online Representations and Certifications. Offerors claiming Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) status/preference shall be registered in VetBiz (www.vetbiz.gov ) (CVE certified SDVOSB) prior to submission of offer.
