Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. SUMMARY: The Missouri National Guard is receiving quotes for up to 8,000 gallons of Diesel Fuel for the 880th EN. The 880th EN is willing to travel up to 80 miles from Wappapello Training Site in Missouri. The Unit will pick up their first load of fuel on 6 June for approximately 2,400 gallons of diesel. Required delivery begins 6 June 15. Additional vendor must reside within 2 hours of Wappapelo Training Site: The fuel details are outlined below. FSC, 1140th Engineer Battalion is providing fuel assets and personnel in support for the 880th Engr. Team at WETS during annual training in June. First draw should be scheduled for 06 June 2015 between 1030-1400 hours. POC will be SFC Paul Lynch at (cell) 314-791-1666 or (office) 573-547-4552. The FSC will make coordination through the 880th to the selected vendor to transfer fuel as required from the vendor fuel truck/tanks to the FCS fuel truck at a designated location. This will be determined when a vendor is awarded the contract. FSC will drive from Cape to the vendor to pick up the first draw on 6 June. First draw will consist of an estimated 2400 gl. Follow on draw will be determined by mission requirements and will be coordinated with the vendor on a time frame agreed upon between the 880th/FSC and the vendor. The coordination will be completed no less than 48 hours in advance. The amount of fuel drawn from the vendor will not exceed 8000 gallons.
