- CONTINUATION PAGE Attachment 1 - Pulmonary Services - Vendor Questions and answers: Q - Who is the incumbent and what is the incumbent pricing? A - The incumbent is Sanford Clinic. The contract was awarded for $2,610,584.00. Q - What is the average time frame from bid due date to award? A - The average time frame from proposal due date to award can vary depending on reviews/approvals, negotiations, etc. Q - What is the average length of time for credentialing at your facility? A - The average time for credentialing is 6-8 weeks. Q - Will you consider a physician who is Board Eligible within 4 years of Fellowship? A - See Performance Work Statement paragraphs 1.1 and 4.5.1.1. Q - Will you consider a non-Boarded Pulmonologist who has VA experience? A - See Performance Work Statement paragraphs 1.1 and 4.5.1.1. Q - What is the on-call schedule, will the physician take call every night and weekend? What is the average number of calls received when on-call? A - See Performance Work Statement paragraphs 3.2.3 and 4.5.2. Q - Does the DEA have to be tied to South Dakota? A - See Performance Work Statement paragraphs 2.1.9. Q - Amount of clinic time VS. Hospital time A - See Performance Work Statement paragraphs 4.5.1.1. Q - How many other Pulmonologists will be on staff during the locums assignment? A - None. Q - What support staff is available? A - For the outpatient area, there is 1 RN that is dedicated to the service. There are MSA (Clerks) to handle the scheduling. Two LPNS are shared throughout the service line that assist with check-in. On the inpatient side the Government provides all the support staff needed for the environment. Q - The solicitation paperwork states that a dosimeter is required to be furnished by the contractor to contract providers. We have not seen this with a Pulmonology solicitation before. Can the VA provide the dosimeter if required? A - See Performance Work Statement paragraphs 4.2.
