Description

Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville, FL intends to solicit for Storage and Warehouse Support Services utilizing the full and open competition procedures on behalf of the Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Operating functions include: receiving; receipt processing; issue processing; packaging/crating material; inventorying; and storage/warehousing. This requirement is for one-year base period beginning 30 September 2015 through 29 September 2016 with three (3) one-year options. A site visit will be held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba on 24 June 2015 at 09:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) at Bldg 752 NAVSUP Conference Room for the purpose of inspection of the site where services will be performed. Attendance will be at the expense of the offeror. Visitors to the Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba will be required to fill out a Naval Station Entry Clearance Request. Please email your interest to attend the Site Visit no later than 10:00 a.m. EST on 5 June 2015 along with your Naval Station Entry Clearance Request (SECNAV Form 5521-1). The acquisition will be made in accordance with FAR Parts 12, 15 and 13.5, utilizing Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price service type contract. Applicable NAICS: 493110 Small Business Size Standard: $27.5 The Government will not mail, fax, or e-mail the solicitation or any amendments thereto. Subsequent amendments, if any, will be transmitted solely via the NECO website. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking the NECO web site early and periodically for any solicitation amendments. Prospective offerors should not expect notification that an amendment has been issued. The NECO web site is occasionally inaccessible due to maintenance. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offerors inability to access the document posted on the referenced web site. Telephone and facsimile requests will not be honored. Electronic submission of proposals via NECO is NOT available at this time.
