Brand Name Required EVALUATION: An award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer. An award shall be made to the responsible offeror submitting a technically acceptable quote and offering the lowest evaluated price. To be considered for evaluation, offerors must quote on all items/services listed in the solicitation. Technical acceptability will be determined solely on the content and merit of the information submitted in response to this RFQ. The technical acceptability determination will be based on quotation(s) with an exact brand name/item (part) number as those included within this RFQ. Items quoted must be an exact match of the product. NO SUBSTITUTION ITEMS proposed will be considered for award. BRAND NAME REQUIREMENT Secunia CSI is a cloud-based subscription service for third party patch management that enables NETL to quickly patch a broad array of software applications that would otherwise be vulnerable to cyber-attacks and exploitation. Secunia CSI was chosen over other products because it integrates with NETL's existing Windows Server Update Services infrastructure which allows the solution to deploy updates to ADMIN workstations using our existing infrastructure; has a minimal client that does not negatively impact PC performance; and has the largest catalog of third party patches of any vendor. The size of the catalog is extremely important as NETL currently does not limit the software users are able to install on their assigned work station. This flexibility has led to an ever increasing attack surface for those trying to compromise the computing environment. In previous years NETL has identified more than 1,764 newly identified software vulnerabilities with a rating of high (around 5 per day). Secunia allows NETL to patch the highest number of these vulnerabilities in the most efficient manner.
