Description
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) awarded a Requirements Contract (HT9402-15-D-0001) with Fixed Unit Prices to supplement the TRICARE Overseas Program (TOP) to International SOS Government Services, Inc., Trevose, PA on 22 May 2015. This contract was solicited with no set-asides under HT9402-14-R-0001; proposals were due on 4 November 2014. The TOP contract encompasses a wide range of health care support services for TRICARE-eligible beneficiaries who reside outside the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. These services include the development of host nation provider networks, referral management activities, TRICARE eligibility verification and enrollment, medical evacuations, dental care for Active Duty Service Members (ADSMs) in remote overseas locations, medical record translation services, medical management activities, customer service/call center activities, beneficiary and provider education and marketing, and claims processing. These health care support services are necessary to supplement the health care services provided by overseas MTFs to ensure that eligible beneficiaries have access to the full range of TRICARE benefits, since the overseas MTFs do not have sufficient capability or capacity to meet the demand for services. Performance of this contract will be accomplished at the contractor's and its teammate's facilities. The contract base period (transition-in) of performance is 1 September 2015 through 31 August 2016. There are five - one-year option periods continuing through 31 August 2021 and the potential for a six month extension pursuant to FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services. Total estimated value of the contract, including the base, five - one-year option periods and the potential six month extension is $553,266,834. Mr. Todd Young is the Contracting Officer and the Defense Health Agency, Aurora, CO 80011, is the contracting activity (HT9402).
