Description
Request for Information The United States Department of Labor - Employment & Training Administration (ETA), Boston Area Office is seeking information regarding a cost-effective method to provide training options for forty (40) staff members located in the JFK Federal Building in Boston, MA. ETA is seeking vendors who can provide unlimited training options (for example, via an annual license) to access online training, webinar training, and also unlimited classroom training for classes offered locally. ETA's training budget is limited, so they are seeking to maximize available funding to provide training for their forty (40) Boston Area Office employees. Anticipated Period of Performance: August 1, 2015 - July 31, 2016 Overview of Proposed Requirements • Provide unlimited access to an existing online training catalog, and online webinars, plus unlimited access to live training classes. Training will not be customized or scheduled by US Department of Labor - ETA. All training and classes would be pre-existing, open-enrollment sessions. • Training and course subject matter would be from a variety of categories, including (but not limited to): Microsoft Office Program Training, customer service, grants management, presentation skills, communications, writing/grammar, etc. • All trainees are located in the Boston regional office, so offerors should provide live training classes in the Eastern Massachusetts region. • It is preferred that Trainees be able to log-in to schedule and track their training classes, possibly through an annual site license. • Administrative tracking functionality of training completed by employees would be preferred. • Certification credits and CPE's for training would be preferable, but is not required. Proposed award would be made via task order or purchase order, and would include training for all 40 employees for the period of one year. Option years may be included. Please see attachment for additional information
