Description

This is a Sources Sought only. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is performing market research to assess the commercial marketplace for air ambulance services in California. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. The general service area covers Northern California, specifically San Francisco and Santa Clara counties. However, flights may be required to/from any county north of Monterey and may occasionally include flights to HNL. There is no solicitation document as this time. The NAICS is 621910 with Small Business size of $15 million. The Department of Veterans Affairs is contemplating indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contracts for up to five years in duration for air ambulance services. A DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached. Please read through the DRAFT PWS before responding to this notice. If your company provides air ambulance services, please provide the information requested below: 1.Company Name 2.Company Duns & Bradstreet Number 3.Socio-economic Status (e.g. large business, small business, service-disabled veteran owned small business, etc.) 4.Point of Contact with Name, Email Address, and Telephone Number 5.What service areas does the company currently operate? If you cannot provide services for the entire State of California, please identify the county(ies). 6.Describe your air ambulance fleet (type of aircraft(s), number of aircraft(s), and location of hubs)? Please note that your company must actually be able to perform these services. This is not a solicitation for brokerage services. Please provide the information to Nicole Do at Nicole.do@va.gov by 4:00 PM PST on June 12, 2015. If you have questions pertaining to the DRAFT PWS, please email those questions nicole.do@va.gov. Questions/comments are welcomed as the document is a DRAFT and subject to change based on industry input. If you are responding as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov). All Contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) (see internet site: http://www.sam.gov).
